STAGE MANAGER
Steven E Brown,(Atlanta, GA), a true “child of the south”, is very proud of his roots and all the trappings of a life growing up in Alabama and Georgia. After studying Graphic Design and music at the University of Georgia, he worked as a free-lance designer for ten years before discovering a love for movement. He moved to NYC in 1989 to study at The Ailey School and completed the Certificate Program in 1991. Since that time, he has worked on the staff at Dance Theatre of Harlem and presently is the Senior Studio Manager at The Ailey School.

Steven continues to live and work as an artist in the mediums of drawing, painting, graphic design, videography, choreography, performance, and production. “One of the great joys in life is the privilege of working with others and making something new. It really is a true thrill to be a part of the creative process in all its forms. My sincerest thanks to KA for all the monumental moments of joy I’ve experienced in my years of knowing, loving, and working with her and Genesis.”
